About Us
Mike has lived in Stokesdale all of his life and I (Shay) moved here when we got married in 1991. We have three wonderful kids - Brent, Brittney and Blaine. Brittney was born in 2002 and right after Mike decided to leave the plumbing business with his Dad and start a landscaping business. He does miss the plumbing business and especially working with his Dad. At that point in time we had just went from a two income family with one child to one income family with two kids and would be blessed in six months to find out we were going to have a third. Mike never missed a beat with his leap of faith and we have been very blessed with work from week one.

From the beginning of the landscaping business Mike has talked about us having a nursery but it was never within our grasps. Once again as the weather started to show hints of spring Mike started talking about opening a nursery. Once we looked at the prices of new greenhouses and cold frames we pretty much knew we could not do it. We started praying hard to be good stewards of what God gives us and for him to best guide us in the business. It was not even a week later that Mike got a phone call of someone that had a used greenhouse and cold frame for sale that we could actually afford. It felt like God was saying here it is you can do it. Our problem is we sometimes get ahead of God's plan for us but this we are taking it one step at a time as God provides and look forward to a long successful trip.

It is going to be so exciting to be able to build a business connecting people to God's creations. We look forward to a new business, founded on Godly principles, dedicated to bringing God the honor and glory He deserves, focused on giving rather than taking. These next few years will consist of a lot of praying!!

Stay tuned for what tomorrow brings!!

Luke 17:6
FAMILY AFFAIR
He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.

Even the small ones are working to make this a success. This spring they have helped with planting the seeds. Their faces were a great reward for the seeds coming up!!
